Parent Partnership
At Wowkid Preschool, we believe that a strong partnership with parents is the most solid foundation for a child’s holistic development. We see families as an integral part of a child’s learning and growth journey, and we are deeply aware that open and transparent communication is the key to every child’s success
We are committed to building and maintaining a trusting, consistent partnership with parents through diverse communication methods and participation opportunities:
Proactive and Transparent Communication
Daily Updates:
Teachers will provide detailed information about your child’s day, including learning activities, meals, rest, and social interactions. This information is shared with parents via the ClassDojo app and/or a written daily report, depending on your child’s age
Two-way Partnership:
At Wowkid, we believe that a strong partnership between teachers and parents is key to ensuring children receive consistent guidance and support, creating a seamless and effective educational environment from the classroom to the home. This unity in approach is crucial for shaping good habits learned at school, such as cleaning up toys after playtime, which when continued at home, become positive, long-lasting routines rather than just knowledge
To support your child in the most timely and effective way, we welcome your sharing. Any important information regarding your child’s health, behavior, or significant life events is incredibly helpful. This collaboration gives our teachers a more comprehensive view of your child, allowing them to provide appropriate and dedicated support
School-wide Announcements:
Important announcements such as monthly newsletters, event invitations, or policy updates will be regularly shared via email, the Zalo announcement group, and posted on the school bulletin board and the ClassDojo application
Active Participation and Collaboration
We always encourage and welcome active parent involvement in our school’s activities. This not only helps parents gain a deeper understanding of their child’s learning environment but also strengthens the bond between home and school. Opportunities for parents to partner with us include:
Parent-Teacher Meeting:
Direct meetings to collaboratively assess and build the most suitable developmental path for your child
Classroom Events:
Participating in learning activities or special classroom celebrations, sharing memorable moments with your child
School Celebrations:
Joining your child and the Wowkid community to celebrate during festivals, strengthening the bond between families and the school
Volunteer Activities:
Supporting special projects or school events to directly contribute to your child’s educational environment
We believe that when parents partner with us and become an active member of the Wowkid family, we can collectively create the strongest possible foundation for every child’s holistic development
